Last week I said I have a story to tell. Actually, it’s not a very big issue. Just that I was extremely irritated and annoyed by someone. Guess most of you know who I’m talking about. If you don’t know, I’d tell you in person.

It happened on last Thursday 21st Dec, the last day of Oracle. I had 7 BOM cleanup ECRs to be completed on that day itself and it was already 11++ noon and yet the ECRs had not getting all the approvers. My boss asked me to chase the approvers for their reponse. As the lady’s name also in the CC list when he sent me the email, so I already have the feeling she was gonna do something out of it after reading that email. Well, it’s ok if she come to ask me about the issue but seems that she really didn’t know how to ask questions. Once I answered her, she asked me more dumb questions. “Why is it they want to complete the requests by today? Why can’t be done after go-live? What type of changes needs to be done? How long do you think you can finish it per ECR?” Blah blah… After lunch, I started sending execution task to DQA to speed things up cos I really got no hands left to work then. That lady told the team not to work on anything if got add/delete bom. She made them so confused and they came to ask me can do or not. She started to annoy me again by IM me ask this as that. I have no idea how to answer her so that she wont generate more questions. I used the ultimate way by saying “I don’t know how come this could have happened. Maybe you can check with my mentor.” She even offered to call those people to approve the ECRs. But I told her I can call them one by one. No Thanks.
